North Point Labs is a small, family owned and operated kennel, we are located in west-central
Minnesota. I have a passion for working labs, pointing labs in particular. I am an avid hunter,
I hunt pheasant, geese and ducks 3-5 days a week. The dogs here at North Point labs know what birds are all about, they live
for them! In the offseason we still work our dogs on wild birds, it is not uncommon for them to get on hundreds of wild birds
within a few weeks time. From the time they are about five months old they are working wild birds, and hunting hard! We
use wild birds extensively for a variety of reasons, they dont give off as much scent, which makes the dogs work harder
to find them, and use their nose more, wild birds move around, which makes the dogs think harder to pin them
down, wild birds flush earlier, which teaches the dogs that they need to point from a further distance to keep from
flushing the bird. And on top of all that, you wont be hunting planted birds with your dog, you are going to be hunting
wild ones, and I want my dogs to be ready, and know how to work them, and work them with style!

I have spent the past 7 years picking out some of the best bred dogs in the country, only a select few dogs
have made it here at North Point Labs. Our standards here are very high, we will only keep the best. Because of the high standards
we have, everyone who buys a pup from us will benifit. All of our dogs have been bred for high performance, excellent
trainability, marking ability, personality, bidability, strong pointing abilities, and intelligence! We will do everything
possible to ensure that the pups bred here will be genetically healthy and will be just as good, or better than
the breeding stock we have. I am not in it for the money, if I was looking to become rich I sure as heck wouldn't
be doing this! We are breeding to produce better dogs than the ones already here, we want to improve the breed and provide
hunters with excellent hunting partners and great family pets that will live long healthy lives doing what they are bred
to do, HUNT!
